Episode 2 features Atsumasa Takai in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
Driven by the desire to transform long‑standing farming practices, Takai-san is pioneering a cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable way of working—one that allows farmers to take proper days off and make a good living. He shares how he left his previous job to change agriculture from the grower’s side, why he adopted dry direct seeding to decentralize workloads, and how AI is reshaping the future of farm management.
