A fourth Russia-connected tanker, Midvolga-2, was attacked on Tuesday while sailing across the Black Sea to Georgia from Russia.
The attack was carried out by drones, according to Turkish officials, and it remains unclear who was responsible for the strike.
The incident is part of a surge in strikes on Russia-linked shipping, with every vessel targeted in recent attacks having been Russia-linked or having called at Russian ports prior to being struck.
