Описание: My first steps on the PCT in 2024. Took a shuttle from Mazama to Harts Pass. Got my PCT tag from the ranger, signed the log book, and cached some food in the bear box. Shuttle drove me up a short ways to Slate Pass and dropped me off. I hiked north toward the Canadian border and camped between Holman Pass and Rock Pass, saving the toughest snow traverses for tomorrow. Plan is to tag the border on Day 2, then start south to Mexico.
