The beautiful village of Clovelly is situated on the north coast of Devon and is one of Devon's premiere tourist attractions. Today the village is privately owned and a fee is charged for tourist access through the Visitor Centre at the top of the cliff above the village. From there it is a steep walk down narrow a narrow cobbled street into the main village, which is a conservation area. Sylvie and I visited Clovelly during our week in Devon and spent several hours exploring this wonderful old fishing village.
