It's that time of year again! Time to get these kids ready to go BACK TO SCHOOL! WooHoo! I love this time of year and today I want to share my best tips when it comes to kids and packing lunches! I'm all about quick and easy! My kids' lunches are definitely full of carbs, sugar and fat! I however give them a little leeway when it comes to school lunches because I don't want them to be hungry but I also want to make sure they aren't throwing away what I buy. After many failed attempts at "healthy" lunch making I threw in the towel and I'm okay with that. Take a look at what I buy to fill their bags in addition to a simple sandwich, yogurt, string cheese etc. Each family has their own standards and when it comes to lunches these our ours. My children are all responsible for packing their own lunch with a few guidelines. To me the most valuable thing they get out of it is a sense of responsibility and time management. No matter what we eat I want to instill in them the most important lesson which is to receive all things with thanksgiving. Thank you so much for watching!
