I played drums in Avarin for a year or so before the band retired. This was one of my favourite songs to play and is so much fun live.

Much of the credit needs to go to Steven O’Farrell who was the original drummer in Avarin and wrote the drums to the song. I tried to keep the spirit of the original but also put my own slant on it.

I hope you enjoy it!

This was my first attempt at a drum play through video, so go easy on me! haha

There’s no drum replacement going on, only a little bit of doubling on the kick drum. All of the drum sound is from the mics with some basic plugins.
