Bo’ness Model Railway (Steam)

Описание: The O gauge model railway at Bo’ness reflected the Autumn Steam Gala with a steam running session. A wide variety of steam locos, passenger coaches and goods wagons can be seen on the layout.

We’ve tried to identify the locos for the captions but there are likely to be mistakes!

Recorded on 2nd September 2023.

Update: Sadly, in the early morning of 19th May 2024, the model railway was hit by an arson attack and theft of rolling stock resulting in its closure. Hopefully the railway will recover and be re-opened.

Some notes (as helpfully supplied in the comments):
0.16: 103 is a Highland Railway Jones Goods (as recently made by Rapido in 4mm scale). The North British never had a 4-6-0.
4.11: 67456 was a North British Railway 4-4-2T (LNER C15 Class) built 1912, withdrawn 1954.
5.18: 353 was a James Manson "Greenock Bogie" of the G&SWR, with smaller driving wheels than his usual design.
6.25: NBR 448 was a superheated 4-4-2T, later LNER Class C16. Note the "Scotsman" newspaper van at the front.
7.43: 67672 was an ex-LNER V1 class 2-6-2T as built 1938, later class V3, withdrawn 1962 from Thornton.
13.14: 425 is another LNER V1 class 2-6-2T, also built 1938 and withdrawn 1962.
