Описание: F.G. Public High School Nowshera Cantt is one of the oldest educational institute in district Nowshera. The school was established in the 1950s according to my knowledge. Its first name was Cantonment Public School but later the name was changed to F.G and Cantonment Public School was moved to another location.
F.G Public High School has provided quality education in the past and has produced thousands of professionals including doctors, engineers, army officers, and businessmen. The former Cheif of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has also studied here. The school has a co-education system from the beginning and is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Previously the school had some of the largest playgrounds but half of the area was then given to F.G Girls Degree College, established in the last years of the first decade of the 21st century.
I joined FG Public High school as a student of class 3 in 2004 and studied here for almost 8 years. I did my Matriculation in 2013 when Sir Gohar Zaman was serving as a Principal. Some of the teachers of my time were;
Sir Darwaish, Nazim-Uddin, Salahuddin, Izhar, Zaheer-ud-din Babar, Yousaf, Ali Hussain Bangash, Masood Saddique, Waliullah Shah, Ishtiaq, Iftikhar, Qaisar, Qazi, Madam Rozina, Zubarya, and many others.
I have recorded this video in August 2021 when I paid a visit to the school for some work. It was a great experience to meet my old teachers after years. I felt so overwhelmed because they still remembered my name. Wandering in school in a broad day was such nostalgia!
