No Reserve. This Ford Starliner comes with the high-performance 390 cubic-inch V8 engine, making 401 horsepower. It also has three-speed manual gearbox with column shift and overdrive, independent front suspension with A-arms and coil springs, Equa-Lock differential, and tough-looking 15" steel wheels with hub caps. The addition of Ford's 3 x 2 Tri-Power carburetors increased the horsepower rating to 401, an almost unheard-of figure in those days. This '61 comes with Ford's factory-developed row of three two-barrel carburetors, aluminum intake manifold, and the elongated oval air cleaner that became so popular on a variety of Ford engines in the 1960s.
