The Helix has a whole new line of wireless security sensors called Cryptix. Cryptix is a 433MHz product line that offers wireless encryption back to the Helix panel. If you are looking for a new security system you want to make sure you are looking for a security system that has encryption especially in this day and age. Cryptix sensors in addition to being encrypted a 1500 foot range can be enjoyed when you use the larger RE604 door/window contact. If you are using the smaller RE622 you can still enjoy a max range of 1000 feet. All of the other products typically you can expect a 1000 foot range as well.

End users can enjoy 10-15 year battery life on CR123A battery with Low Battery indication.

With Helix, you will have the options as far as communicating alarm signals back to an alarm monitoring company via internet broadband, which is where you connect your Helix with cat5 cable directly plugged into the router to the main Helix control panel. All Helix models will have the internet cat 5 connection from the factory. If you were looking for something that can be placed anywhere around your home or business without having to run a cat 5 cable than maybe the Helix Wi-FI communicator work's better for you. This will allow the Helix security system to wireless connect to your home Wi-Fi router so no need to run cables.

The last communication option is via Verizon LTE cellular communicator module. This cellular module is the most important feature an end user can add to their Helix security system because in the event an intruder cut's the power meter box, phone line and/or internet lines the panel would not communicate ordinarily. If the LTE cellular module had been added it could have still transmitted the alarm signals to a central station because it is powered off of the alarm systems 24-hour backup battery.

The Helix also has a z-wave receiver option. This easy to install very inexpensive module allow the Helix to control z-wave home automation devices such as lights, locks, and thermostats.

Helix security system is activated by an authorized Ipdatatel provider such as Geoarm security. Once you have activated signals with your monitoring company you will want to make sure to ask them about your username and login into the Secure Smart Application. The Secure Smart app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store or the Google Play store for Android users.

In conclusion, the Resolution product encrypted wireless security system is a system to be reconned with. It has encrypted wireless sensors, a 1500' rf wireless range, a 10-15 battery life, 24-hour backup battery for panel, large amount of Cryptix Sensors, panel can be remotely programmed and can utilize a wide variety of DVR cameras such as Amcrest, Axis, Foscam, Hikvision, samsung, sony and vivotek!
