Well no wonder it doesn't run right... | Adjusting the Valves and Ignition points on a JD Tractor

Описание: Welcome Back! This week we're in a lull waiting on parts, so we're going to adjust valves and points.
We're still working on our 1958 John Deere 530, we found out the valves are out of adjustment so we'll get that corrected.
The points also need to be checked and re-gapped, so we'll handle that as well, check the transmission oil and verify where
our timing is currently set.

Also I do finally acknowledge the crack in the intake manifold on this tractor, thanks to anyone who pointed it out to me.

Mechanical Specs Referrenced in this Video:
Intake and Exhaust Valves: .020" Hot - Although I treat "hot" valve specifications with Deere the same as farmall, hot=room temp, therefore we set the valves at room temp to .020"
Points Gap: .022"
