Charlton Park Reflects on Leadership as UHA Board Chair

Описание: As Charlton Park's tenure as Chair of the Utah Hospital Association Board of Trustees comes to an end this month, we're grateful for his leadership over the past three years. During his time as Chair, Charlton oversaw significant achievements, including the passage of a new hospital assessment that brought hundreds of millions of dollars to Utah hospitals and the successful advocacy for Senate Bill 69, which strengthened protections for the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

Charlton also led the search for our new President and CEO, Francis Gibson, whose unique background as both a hospital administrator and knowledge of how the legislative process works, positions UHA well for the challenges ahead. As healthcare faces continued pressures from federal policy changes, workforce shortages, and rising costs, Park emphasizes the growing importance of a strong hospital association.

He looks forward to remaining involved and continuing to advocate and support the good work being done with the UHA.

While stepping down as Chair, Park will continue to serve on the UHA Executive Committee.
