A milestone we never dreamed of reaching back in September 2005, when 001-SR first dropped digitally - but here we are lovely Strippers (TBF this nickname never took off, and I'm not that unhappy about it).

To mark this moment, we’ve revisited Cass’ rather supreme+splendid “Gothamania”.

Originally released in early April, it felt only right that this new Remix EP would be our milestone 400th — and once you see who’s involved, you’ll understand why.

Cass himself was already considered something of a legend when he broke through in the late ’90s/early 2000s — from his powerhouse work as part of Cass & Slide, to acclaimed solo releases on his own Fire and Sabotage imprints.

Fast-forward to summer 2025 — and “Gothamania: Remixes” features four brand new reinterpretations. First up: Hernan Cattaneo x Mercurio.

Hernan, of course, needs no introduction. A true legend of the scene — El Maestro — his passion and commitment remain unmatched. Decades at the top, yet his enthusiasm for quality never fades, whether inside the DJ booth or in the studio.

It’s a true honour to have him join the label for this special release.

Alongside him is his longtime production partner Mercurio (aka Esteban Battilana), a talented guitarist, producer and musician. With heavyweight remixes for Björk and U2, plus releases on Watergate, Global Underground, Renaissance, and Yoshitoshi, he’s a force in his own right.

Cass then got his youngest @oursecretlab jr involved on film duties (she's basically been given the role of Creative Director for cass_v3), and she suggested getting the Dark Knight in brick form involved, 'cos Gotham... which we love. So big thanks to j4 for her concept+construction.

400 truly feels special, so we sent out the call, and assembled the Avengers to make it so.
