The Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation presents the first in our 2021 series of TutuTalks.
TutuTalks offers a platform for young leaders who embody the values and ethics displayed by Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu throughout his life of service.
Showcasing ethical leadership from South Africa and the rest of the African continent, TutuTalks hopes to reframe unresolved issues within civil society and uncover what moral and ethical leadership entails.
Samantha Mkandhla, head of philanthropy and partnerships for Médecins Sans Frontières Southern Africa, tells of the personal cost of servant leadership, and how she learned to overcome it and still work to make the world a better place.
Mkandhla’s talk is presented in collaboration with the African Leadership Institute, and sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation.
