👉 केंद्र सरकार लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले नागरिकता (संशोधन)अधिनियम (CAA)के नियमों की घोषणा कर दी गयी है. नागरिकता प्रदान करने के लिए पूरी प्रक्रिया ऑनलाइन आवेदक अपने मोबाइल फोन से भी आवेदन कर सकते. नियम जारी होने के बाद अब पात्र लोगों को भारतीय नागरिकता दी जायेगी. इसके तहत पाकिस्तान ,अफगानिस्तान और बांग्लादेश के 6 अल्पसख्यक समुदाय को भारत की नागरिकता दी जाएगी.इसके तहत हिन्दू, सिख, बौद्ध, जैन, पारसी, इसाई को शामिल किया है .मुस्लिम समुदाय को नहीं शामिल करने के कारण इसका देश भर में विरोध हो रहा है. आवेदकों को पाकिस्तान, बांग्लादेश या अफगानिस्तान के वैध विदेशी पासपोर्ट के साथ आवासीय परमिट की एक प्रति की आवश्यकता होती थी. अब पासपोर्ट और भारत द्वारा जारी आवासीय परमिट की आवश्यकता खत्म. वीज़ा के स्थान पर स्थानीय निकाय के निर्वाचित सदस्य द्वारा जारी प्रमाण पत्र भी पर्याप्त.

The Central Government has announced the rules of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) before the Lok Sabha elections. Applicants can also apply online through their mobile phones for the entire process for granting citizenship. After the release of the rules, now eligible people will be given Indian citizenship. Under this, 6 minority communities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be given Indian citizenship. Under this, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, Christians have been included. Due to not including the Muslim community, there will be opposition across the country. Applicants used to require a copy of residential permit along with a valid foreign passport of Pakistan, Bangladesh or Afghanistan. Now the requirement of passport and residential permit issued by India is no longer required. A certificate issued by an elected member of the local body in place of visa is also sufficient.
