Kinlochewe to Loch Maree walk

Описание: This is a track walk which gently makes its way to Loch Maree; Kinlochewe delta. It starts from a small car park in Kinlochewe and winds its way towards Loch Maree. If I had started my walk earlier in the day I would have walked further - as it was my walk was 4.97 miles and took me 3.15 hours. Due to the recent rain a lot of the pathway was wet and boggy - but not an issue. Loch Maree is said to be 21.7 km (13.46 mi) long and with a maximum width of 4 km (2.5 mi) with some 30 islands.
The islands have been undisturbed and are populated with ancient woodlands;

https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/# walks is now my go to site for walks. Up until now I have been using the walkhighlands boot scale to suggest the level of effort / conditions of my walks. However, I remember starting out on walks and initially found many short walks were difficult but as my fitness returned so did the ease of walks - so ….. 🥾 as a marker of difficulty is only relative to some.

This walk was just under 5 miles and took me 3 1/4h. The track was quite muddy in many places, but not difficult.
