Описание: The Severn Valley Railway's 2023 Autumn Steam Gala sees a celebration of the centenary of the Big Four, with both home fleet and visiting locomotives representing the LMS, LNER, GWR and Southern. Headlining the gala was BR(E) Thompson B1 61306 'Mayflower', making her passenger debut at the railway, having previously visited in 2022 for testing following the fitment of air brakes. Another debut was made by USATC S160 2253 'Omaha', marking the first visit of an S160 to the line. Other guests included LMS Ivatt 2MT 41312 and Bagnall 0-6-0ST No.401 'Vulcan'. The event also saw the reopening of Eardington Station, having last seen stopping passenger services 41 years ago.
