Описание: This tune is the quintessential Jeff Porcaro tune (other than maybe Rosanna), who made it a hit for the great Michael McDonald. That is one of the defining traits in Jeff's drumming. He made simple songs hits for so many different artists. The drum part on this specific tune is very iconic and challenging but yet Jeff made it sound so simple and easy like he did on so many other tunes as well. Not only do I love Jeff's drumming on this tune, but Michael McDonald's smooth vocals, Greg Phillinganes' keyboard part, Steve Lukather's smart and simple guitar lines, and Louis Johnsons funky bass line are all perfect as well and together make up one of the best pop R&B tunes of the 1980's. I spent a lot of time listening and studying the intricacies of Jeff's part on this tune, and I hope that it all comes across through this video as we head into the new year and "Keep Forgettin'" 2020!
