There are 7 x 3D Brawler Opponents. Sephiroth is the final 3D Brawler opponent. This minigame is found in Chapter 8, in the Gold Saucer, at Wonderment Square. In Chapter 8 you can only fight the first 3 opponents. The remaining 4 opponents are available in Chapter 12. But for the last 2 you must finish all 36 Side Quests in the game.

For the actual fights, the best tip is to pause buffer (pause whenever enemy puts back his arm). After learning their attack movements this gives you a longer reaction time to predict their next move. Which attacks they can use is shown in the fighter select before the match, which also shows how to dodge. This minigame is all about pattern recognition. After dodging 3-4 times the opponents will glow blue and you must attack at the right moment. If they burn red, dodge all attacks and they will get staggered and you are guaranteed to land a hit. Repeat until you can activate the limit break to win the match.
