Beijing Railway Station (北京站) – one of the city’s main transport hubs, opened in 1959, still serving both long-distance and some high-speed trains. It’s always full of travelers and energy.

Ming City Wall Ruins Park (明城墙遗址公园) – the longest preserved section of Beijing’s old city walls, originally built in 1419 during the Ming Dynasty. Walking here gives you a rare sense of the ancient capital’s defenses.

Chongwenmen (崇文门) – once one of the gates of Beijing’s old inner city wall. The original gate was demolished in the 1960s, but the name remains, and today it’s a busy commercial area with shopping malls, hotels, and traffic hubs.
