The death toll in Indore temple stepwell collapse has increased to 35 on Friday morning as the search operation to trace persons reported missing after the tragic incident was on. Several people fell into a well as roof of Shri Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple caved in during Ram Navami celebration in the Patel Nagar area in Indore.
Indore Collector Illiya Raja T gave update on the death toll and rescue operations and said that more than 50 people fell into the well. Out of which 35 people have died. Most of the people belong to the same family. He said many children are also involved in the accident.
