Описание: April is National Financial Literacy Month and to support librarians who would like to offer related programming and be able to support patrons better, VTLIB is hosting guest presenter Carol Kando-Pineda, Counsel in the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Consumer and Business Education. This webinar will introduce an FTC site about “just the basics, plain and simple,” and tools to help patrons manage their money and deal with debt. Some of the topics covered will be understanding personal credit and credit reports, managing debt, dealing with debt collectors, avoiding debt relief scams, and recovering from identity theft.
