For this Wednesday's day off, we take a run into the big smoke to Platinum Fashion Mall. The high street shopping in Bangkok is very similar to major cities in the west and pricing is really no different. There are, however, some places in the centre of Bangkok which are quite a bargain and have air-conditioning as well. For the girls, there is Platinum Fashion Mall and for the guys, there is Pantip Plaza. They are 100 meters from each other so you can leave your girl at one while you visit the other. Most guys don't know about Pantip Plaza but it is 4 floors of Computers and Gadgets which every geek would die for!
