Описание: The truth is, this episode carries a rather sad backstory—I had no choice but to scrap the entire original video.

In the first version, there were quite cool scenes of me answering questions from an orthopaedics consultants, analysing MRI scans and getting acknowledged, and even sweeping the table in a poker game with friends.

Two weeks before midterm exams, I thought I’d get ahead by finishing the edit early so I won't rush in the next couple of weeks. But while cleaning up my iPhone storage, I accidentally DELETED majority of clips from the gallery without backups to iCloud. And they were removed from editing programme as well. Just like that, a whole week’s worth of late nights—editing after clinical rotations, part-time shifts, and study sessions—was just gone in an instant.

Honestly, I felt like giving up at the first few hours. The urge to give up (= ditch) the project altogether was overwhelming to be honest. But I couldn’t bear the thought of ending the day with regret. So after finishing my tasks that night, I pulled myself together and started re-editing from scratch with the little footage I had left.

Some might say, “Why not just study instead? A video isn’t that important.” But to me, this was about keeping a promise to myself. I didn’t want to remember today as the day I caved in. I couldn’t accept the version of myself that runs away from even small mistakes. And in the end, I might as well conclude that it was a blessing in disguise. More than showing off, what I truly needed was the experience of taking responsibility for my own mess and fixing it.

This video is a gift to myself.
