4K Detailed Porsche Taycan Turbo S Review by a Tesla Model S+X Owner

Описание: In this weekly review, we are grateful to have the pleasure of producing a comprehensive 2020 Porsche Taycan Turbo S review featuring a full POV drive, launch, interior, exterior, and charging analysis. As a Tesla Model X and Tesla Model S P100D owner, we have quite a bit of experience driving electric vehicles specifically the Porsche Taycan Turbo S's main competition Tesla.

We have done over 50,000 miles in them since 2019, and I got to say while Tesla does not make a perfect product, they do make excellent daily drivers. We do hope that you enjoy the on-camera launches we should of the Tesla Model S P100D and Tesla Model S Plaid. We also share our experiences with interior quality differences, autopilot, and charging.

Overall, for Porsche's first attempt at a production EV, we are impressed! The Porsche Taycan Turbo S has excellent build quality, is a blast to drive in a straight line and in the corners, and has some excellent tech. We also think the Porsche Taycan Turbo S looks great inside and out.

The performance of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S is in the supercar class. Zero to 60 happens in 2.4 seconds and the Porsche Taycan Turbo S runs the quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds! That is pretty insane for a four-door sedan that weighs 5,400 pounds! It's also different than Tesla in that the Porsche Taycan Turbo S has two gears instead of one. We speak on that aspect on camera in this review.

The one area that Porsche and frankly other auto manufacturers will need to work on is autopilot technology. We do Porsche InnoDrive technology in this review, and while it works well, it's just not on the same level as Tesla's FSD (full self-driving) technology. However, we hope you enjoy us showing a bit how the Porsche Taycan Turbo S InnoDrive tech works on camera.

The one downside to the Porsche Taycan Turbo S is the price which was $215,000 in this spec.
