Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party | Day 10 | Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom MVMCP!!

Welcome to Day 10 of our 3 week Walt Disney World adventure.

Please join us for our first ever Walt Disney World Exclusive party!

We knew today was going to be a long day, so we started the day with a leisurely visit to Animal Kingdom. This was our final day in the park so our main aim was to get on Kilimanjaro Safari and complete our “you were here” Starbucks mug collection, by getting the Animal Kingdom mug.

After a long wait we finally got on the safari and it did not disappoint. Bo loved it, and we got to see so many animals moving around and so close to the trucks. A little tip is to always ask to sit at the back, this way you get a completely unobstructed view as the truck drives off, perfect for extra viewing and bette pictures/videos.

We then had a little look around the Gorilla Falls trail, and in a few shops because saying goodbye to the Tree of Life for the final time this trip.

We picked up a little bit of lunch on the way back to the villa, with the aim of getting Bo down for a quick afternoon nap, so he could last the night at MVMCP!

Myself and Rick had a chilled afternoon eating lunch by the pool, before he revealed his final surprise to me, of the holiday. Watch to final out exactly what that surprise was.

We then got ourselves ready and ‘christmassy’ for a magical night at Magic Kingdom for our first ever Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. It was soo chilly!!

The night was soooo jammed packed with Christmas Vibes, we couldn’t even capture it all on camera. We picked up our free Christmas ornament, followed by a sweet treat, before meeting the Gingerbread Men!

We found our spot for the Christmas parade, which was definitely my highlight of the night. It was so magical, colourful and full of characters you don’t normally get to see which gave it that extra special touch. It was also really long for a parade, which again made the extra cost of the tickets feel worth it.

We didn’t have long before the Christmas fireworks show started, so it was a quick race over to the People mover, collecting about 30 free red velvet cookies, and finding our spots for the fireworks. Which, saying we arrived 9 mins before they started, turned out to be a pretty good spot.

The fireworks were incredible, it was all about the importance of spending the holidays with the people you love. The music, projects and fireworks themselves were 10/10. We loved it.

The night ended with us getting food at Caseys Corner, and catching the monorail back to the car. It was soooo cold that we wished we could have stayed right until the end but it was just too chilly.

That being said, we still had a wonderful night, and would definitely do a Magic Kingdom party again. If you get the chance to visit this time of year, and have the extra funds to afford the party; the definitely do it. I don’t think you would be disappointed.
