Описание: Today, Tracey and I had an awesome time taking out our new fishing boat, a 3.5-metre (12 ft) Sea Surge aluminium pontoon boat, built around 2012, for a spin. This boat is super cool with a design similar to a Zodiac RIB but made of aluminium, making it rugged and seaworthy. It's powered by a 2021 Tohatsu 30hp 4-stroke motor. The weather was perfect for our test drive, well actually too perfect for a decent sea trial! We cruised along the coastline, chatting about where to position Tracey's seat. The boat proved to be very fuel-efficient, using less than a quarter of a tote tank for all our travels (Waiwera inlet/Wenderholm boat ramp/Mahurangi river mouth/Orewa beach). One time, we topped 25 knots (30 mph) with a bit more RPM in reserve, and the boat handled this speed quite well. It was an amazing day out on the water!
