Hello There to one and all.
On the 14th of May 1951 a small railway in wales became the first passenger carrying railway ran by volunteers, The Worlds First Preserved Railway. Nearly 75 years on the Talyllyn Railway is one of the most well known railways in the world with people flocking to the railway for its heritage locos, scenery and awdry connection.
This railway has changed so many peoples lives and i am one of the lucky people who it has changed. I could not ask for a better railway to volunteer at and I do think of it as another home.
