I don't know if it's the quarantine getting to me or what, but I let my husband CUT MY HAIR! I don't think he did too bad either. I figured it would be fun to do a lockdown haircut at home. This really helped us put our teamwork capabilities to the test.

If you want to know how to cut your own hair at home, the end of this video might give you some guidance. If we can do it, you certainly can too! At first, I thought we might have a quarantine haircut gone wrong situation but the hair Gods blessed us today.

I REALLY wanted a fresh start in 2020. My ends were looking kinda ratchet and one side was way longer than the other. So, I started off with some good ole TLC. I treated my hair with keratriplex and hydratriplex before straightening and cutting.

The keratriplex treatment is a great protein treatment that penetrates the hair shaft to strengthen any bonds weakened from chemicals, environmental damage or other issues. It's a great protein treatment for high porosity hair, natural hair, and relaxed hair.

Besides my shampoo two and neuro heat protectant, I mainly used Amika hair products. They've been my absolute favorite lately.

I also opted to round brush blowout my 4c natural hair, using my favorite T3 Cura Luxe blowdryer.

Meanwhile, hydratriplex really works on the outermost layer of the hair, closing down the cuticle and locking in moisture.
