Описание: Fantasy artist Iain McCaigs newest artbook: Once Upon a Time Sketchbook book preview. This book is a beautiful 160 page fantasy sketch book, filled with illustrations covering all things fantasy and more, including mermaids, unicorns, centaurs, fairies, wizards, dragons and orcs - Some of these creatures, especially the orcs, reminded me a lot of the Karl Kopinski sketchbooks (check video links below). As well as all the fantasy drawings throughout the book, there are also a lot of animal drawings and figure illustrations. Iain is well known for his illustration work and concept art in many big movies and films such as Star Wars and the Avengers, he has quite the portfolio to say the least - an incredible artist! Iain Mccaig also has some art courses online on the Schoolism website and also the Gnomon workshop site.

The book is well priced and a decent size too, although I personally prefer verticle printed / binded books, as opposed to horinzontal opening / wide books like this, the quality seems good and I would strongly recommend it if you are a fan of Iain Mccaigs work, or like Fantasy in general. For me this sketchbook is extremely inspiring and motivating as an artist and gives me lots of ideas to draw! What do you guys think?
