With the iconic and highly influential Seiko SKX dive watch being discontinued in 2019, many companies have been looking to fill the void. On the more affordable end of the spectrum, I found two options from Cadisen and Heimdallr that have a similar look, premium specs like sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel inserts, and a 5 link J-Style bracelet. I go into detail in terms of their dimensions, strengths and weaknesses, and the overall package for what they offer.
