Sometimes the MRE just isn't enough; that's where the MORE comes in. The US Military Modular Operational Ration Enhancement (M.O.R.E.) is a combat ration pack that is issued alongside a Meal Ready to Eat in situations where troops require more calories than usual. There are two different varieties of this small field ration: Hot Weather and Cold Weather. In each of these extreme environments, a soldier needs more food and hydration than a single MRE can offer. The MORE is designed to be easily consumed on the go. They also provide energy-boosting items like caffeinated pudding and gum, along with energy gel and bars.
