We leave the beautiful gannets and coastal views at Bempton Cliffs behind, and head to Helmsley, where motorhomes are allowed to overnight in the overflow car park for free.
We arrive in darkness to find there's no room, and with no plan B, we end up parking in the coach area overnight, and hope there is room in the official car park when we get up in the morning. Helmsley is somewhere we have wanted to visit for a while now, so it would be sad if we have to leave.
The following day is our wedding anniversary, but it's also a very wet and rainy day.
