Описание: The Telangana Employees Health Care Trust Board has decided to launch the new Employee Health Scheme (EHS) on July 15. The decision was taken during the first board meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao at the Secretariat.

Officials announced that the new EHS guidelines will be issued within a week, along with the final list of empanelled hospitals and approved treatment rates. The board also decided that if both husband and wife are government employees, the monthly contribution will be deducted from only one employee. If deductions were already made from both salaries on July 1, the excess amount will be refunded.

Around 1.44 lakh government employees and pensioners, along with nearly 13 lakh dependent family members, are expected to benefit from the scheme. Employees will contribute 1.5% of their basic salary every month, while the Telangana government will make an equal contribution, with both sides contributing approximately ₹528 crore annually.
