Sorry for the language if its too much! I was definitely knee deep in this project so you get my raw real thoughts and emotions. Can't help but laugh both with and at myself sometimes...
Overview and my experience swapping out the 2 small factory sound bar speakers on each side for one pair of 6x9s. I had the basic (non alpine) stereo system in my Jeep from the factory.
I am very pleased with this swap and recommend this or at least updated 3.5 and 4 in speakers to something you can hear with roof or doors off lol
All my connections were plug and play with the kit, only cutting was the soundbar. I'm still running off the OEM head unit no additional amp etc.
