Hello there, all you wonderful people, and welcome back to An Ecologist Plays - the channel where we talk about nature while playing games! My new favourite city-builder game has released into v1.0! This is Flotsam, a game where you expand your floating city in a post-apocalyptic world where the Earth's surface is covered with water. In today's episode, we start scavenging resources, discuss why we are doing it (and why we are not harvesting ALL the resources), and we expand our floating city. So, grab something to drink, make yourselves comfortable, and let's chat about nature and ecology!
