As a parent, you're never prepared to hear the words "your child has cancer". In addition to navigating the painful process of diagnosis and treatment, most families are financially crippled by the unexpected costs of fighting the disease. Costs like the gas, airfare, parking, and lodging expenses required when traveling for treatment. That's where our charitable partnership with Power comes in.
In 2011, Power Home Remodeling joined forces with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation to ensure that families won't have to face the battle alone. Since then, Power has raised over $2 million in the fight against pediatric cancer. This year, Power's goal is to fully fund the travel expenses for 600 families battling childhood cancer for an entire year.
