First session of "drop" or "out" using Ivan Balabanov's Training Without Conflict way!

This is Louie who has been here for 5 days. He wasn't that into playing n day one so we did other stuff and got him off-leash reliable for recall. (We skied and hiked with other dogs having fun and hung out together inside so trust was built.) If he wasn't so into it during this first session, I would just play and nothing more. But he was wayyyyy into it so decided to teach him a "drop" command and threw in a couple of "sits". I would be looking for this kind of confidence from him before asking for a "drop" or I would lower my tone and firmness when asking. It is not always very clear how much to ask from a dog in the first few sessions as you can run the risk of shutting down or regression in confidence. Better to take your time rather than push it in my opinion. I am still learning!
