How to Fix Code P0456 – EVAP Leak on 2011-2019 Ford Explorer (Cheap & Easy Repair!)

Описание: In this video, I walk you through how to fix the P0456 EVAP System Leak Detected (very small leak) code on a 2016 Ford Explorer. This common issue is usually related to the EVAP purge control valve, which can fail and cause small vacuum leaks in the system.

👨‍🔧 Symptoms:
• Check Engine Light (CEL) on
• Stored trouble code: P0456
• Slight fuel odor or difficulty starting after fueling (sometimes)

🛠️ Fix:
The culprit in this case was the Purge Control Valve Solenoid. I replaced it with a Motorcraft AU5Z-9C915-B unit – a direct OEM replacement.
