Josh Groves is a quiet, studious young sim from Brindleton Bay. His family is excited to see him off to University to become the next “Groves Teacher” in a long list of family educators … but Josh has other plans, he has a passion for art and a longing to live in the city. Armed with a ‘gap year’ (not to disappoint his parents) his trusted easel and his best friend, Dominic, Josh heads to San Myshuno to live out his dreams in his penthouse overlooking the famous Paint it Black Art Gallery (look out for it in a future video) … wait, did I say penthouse LOL … I meant a smelly, rat infested hole in the wall, but Josh couldn’t be happier. He’s inspired to paint day and night, he even transfers some of his art work to his skin, he gets a new look, he makes new friends, city life is everything he imagined it to be except … 10 months of fun and he has yet to sell a painting! Uh-oh ....

If you choose to play with Josh, you get to decide where Josh's path will lead him. Off to University to become the next teacher in the family? Defy his parents and stay on in the city? Catch a break and become a huge overnight art sensation? Or …?
