Associate Professor Holly Chinnery's research focuses on the resilience of the cornea and the role it plays in the eye's immune system.
She co-led the world-first discovery of T-cells, a previously unknown type of immune cell in the normal human eye, and recently established the Cornea Ocular Surface and Immunology Laboratory, where her team is studying the immune system in the cornea.
