昨年のコンサートで演奏した、バッハ《イギリス組曲 第2番 イ短調》です。
バッハの《イギリス組曲》は、《フランス組曲》に比べて、より大規模で華やかな書法が特徴です。冒頭が長大なプレリュードで始まることも、この作品集の大きな特徴です。
チェンバロで演奏すると、楽曲ごとのキャラクターや声部の重なりがはっきりと聴こえてくるので、 まるで細かく彫られた美しい彫刻のように、音が立体的に浮かび上がってくるのが魅力です❤️🔥

This is a performance of Bach’s English Suite, recorded at a concert last year.
Bach’s English Suites are characterized by a larger scale and a more brilliant style compared with the French Suites.
Another distinctive feature of this set is that each suite begins with an extended prelude.
On the harpsichord, the character of each movement and the interplay of the voices become especially clear.
The sound rises in a vivid, three-dimensional way—almost like a beautifully carved sculpture revealing its intricate details❤️🔥
