While the Congress has won in the Ballari Lok Sabha and Jamkhandi Assembly constituencies, the JD(S) has won in the Mandya Lok Sabha and Ramanagara Assembly. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate BY Raghavendra won in the Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency.
