More than 15-thousand Bosnian Serbs have gathered in Trebinje in a show of support for Bosnian Serb leader and indicted war criminal Radovan Karadzic.
It was one of the biggest political rallies in years and came on the sixth anniversary of the founding of Karadzic's S-D-S party.
More than 15-thousand Bosnian Serbs gathered in the sports stadium of Trebinje, about 300 kilometres (186 miles) southeast of Sarajevo.
They came to show their support for the Bosnian Serbs' ruling S-D-S party (Serbian Democratic Party) and its President Radovan Karadzic.
It was one of the biggest political rallies in years in support of the S-D-S.
Trebinje is known for its hardline Bosnian Serb nationalists.
The Bosnian Serb Foreign Minister, Alexa Buha, called for Serb unity in the upcoming elections.
SOUNDBITE: (Serbo-Croat)
We will try to make our point but we will not use violence but try political means.

He added the international community was trying to exclude the S-D-S from Bosnia.
SOUNDBITE: (Serbo-Croat)
The international community has a big headache in their attempts in excluding the S-D-S because that is how they want to make a new Bosnia. There was no word in the Dayton accord about a unified Bosnia. It was added later. They want to form a new party for the Serbs so that they can unify with Bosnia.

Buha went on to say the international community would not be happy with removing Radovan Karadzic alone but would also want the dismantling of the S-D-S.
SOUNDBITE:
They say we must remove Radovan Karadzic from his position as president but that was not enough. President of the party and then they want the S-D-S. That is too much as given.

The spectators waved Bosnian Serb flags and held up posters of Karadzic.
The Bosnian Serb leader did not, however, attend the rally.
Karadzic has been indicted as a war criminal by the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague.
