Playthrough of Jak II. Jak II is a gritty departure from its predecessor Jak and Daxter. Shifting the series from a bright platformer to a dark, open-world action-adventure. The story begins when Jak/Daxter are pulled through a rift into the industrial dystopia of Haven City. Immediately upon arrival, Jak is captured by the tyrannical Baron Praxis and subjected to two years of "Dark Eco" experiments. After a daring prison break aided by Daxter, a now-vengeful and voiced Jak joins an underground resistance movement to topple the Baron and uncover the secrets of his own past.
