How to Make Cake Pops

Описание: Watch as Family Circle shows you how to make cake pops! These party snacks are perfect for Halloween treats. To make jack o'lantern cake pops, bake a cake and break it into pieces, crumbling it into small crumbs. Stir in your frosting, and roll them into 1 1/2 inch balls until they are smooth. Place them onto baking sheets lined with wax paper in the refrigerator. Microwave melting candies with some vegetable shortening, stirring as you go. Dip a lollipop stick into the melted candies about 1 inch, then insert into the cake pops. After freezing for another 10 minutes, dip the whole cake ball into the melting candy. Add a green tic tac for a stem, allowing them to set right side up in a styrofoam block. Add faces with a paintbrush and black food coloring. This Halloween party idea is not only fun and festive, but it's also an easy snack recipe!
