🛑Shyamlatal -
Shyamlatal, located at 1,500 meters in Uttarakhand's Champawat district. It is a serene, 1.5 sq km natural lake renowned for its deep blue-black waters and the historic Vivekananda Ashram and surrounded by lush forests. It serves as a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and spiritual seekers. Main attractions include boating, the annual Jhula fair and nearby ancient ruins.

🛑Bhoot Gaon

Bhoot Gaon" near Swala in Champawat, Uttarakhand, refers to several abandoned, ghost villages like Matihial, deserted due to lack of infrastructure (water, roads, electricity) and migration, rather than paranormal activity. These formerly inhabited Himalayan settlements are now desolate, with fallow fields and ruined houses.

🛑Champawat Tea garden

Amiable climate provide the perfect environment for tea plantations, which the British established approximately 150 years ago. The beautiful tea gardens are just 8 km away from Champawat town and cover a vast 235-hectare area, making them one of the largest organic tea gardens in the Himalayan region. The tea gardens employ over 400 people who produce black, white, and organic green tea under the brand name "Uttarakhand Tea," which is also being exported.
The Tea Development Board is promoting tea tourism in the area by promoting homestays, tea tasting, nature walks, and tea plucking.
Visitors can experience the charm of tea gardens and witness the tea-making process while enjoying the serene and picturesque beauty of the Himalayas

🛑Mayavati Ashram (Advaita Ashrama)

Mayavati Ashram in Champawat, Uttarakhand, is a serene, historic spiritual center established in 1899 at the behest of Swami Vivekananda for practicing Advaita Vedanta. Located 22 km from Champawat at 6,400 feet, it offers a peaceful, scenic retreat for meditation, featuring a library, museum, and charitable hospital. 

🛑Abbott Mount

Abbott Mount Church is a secluded, century-old, British-era, Gothic-style, abandoned church located in the serene oak and deodar forests of Abbott Mount, near Lohaghat in Uttarakhand, India. Built around 1942, it offers a tranquil atmosphere, panoramic Himalayan views, and a slightly eerie, haunted feel that attracts tourists, photographers, and history enthusiasts. 

It is said that a British businessman, John Harold Abbott, was so mesmerised by the serenity of this place that he decided to develop it as a European settlement. In 191, he built a cluster of 13 cottages, sprawled over five acres of forest. Later, the place was named after him.

👉🟢THE STORY of Dr. Morris is a popular, eerie local legend from Lohaghat, India, centered around the abandoned Mukti Kothi hospital, where a mysterious British doctor allegedly performed bizarre, unethical experiments on terminally ill patients, predicting their deaths with chilling accuracy before vanishing himself, leaving behind a haunted site known for paranormal activity and unexplained phenomena. While the hospital was real, the tales blend historical fact with folklore, making it one of India's most famous haunted locations.
