Today, after 34 years of service, the Delta MD-88 has retired from the fleet. I have had the pleasure to spot and fly on the aircraft many times over the past 5 years that I have been running this channel, and to celebrate it's retirement, I've compiled all the footage I could find of it into one amazing farewell video. The MD-88 has played an important role as a workhorse in the Delta fleet, and it will be missed by many. On May 29th, 2020, I got to fly on the aircraft one last time for a farewell trip, and those full flight videos will be released over the next few weeks.
But now, I want you to sit back, relax, and enjoy 43 minutes of pure MD-88 sights and sounds as we say goodbye to this legendary aircraft. Farewell Maddog, you will be missed!
