3 day trip from Islamabad to Naltar Valley via besham - Kohistan in winters
Day 1 : we started our journey from Islamabad around 12 at night and reached Dassu waterfall by 7 in the morning. It is one of the most eye catching scenery all along the till gilgit.
We reached reached Nomal around 8 in the evening ( a town near gilgit) from where we took a jeep for 8k to take us to Naltar Valley and to drop us back at Nomal.
After a jeep ride of almost 1 n half hour we reached Naltar and stayed in a hotel which provides one of the best view of Naltar Valley. It was literally freezing. Temp at night was around -20 degrees. Though it was kind of hotel owner, he provided us with extra blankets and heaters and warm food on our table.
Day 2: on day 2 we explored Naltar Valley and got to experience the longest Chairlift of Pakistan and it provides such a heavenly view which cant be described. Then we had a lunch at PAF mess again it’s sighting and infra at such place is mind blowing. Then we gave a try to skiing and did manage to ski around 50 meters.
After which we made our way back to pindi and reached back around 10 in the morning.
