The Main Gully route up Glyder Fach involves ascending the Alphabet Slab at the foot of the rock face, then continuing up the main gully or traversing onto the ridge for a slightly more challenging route to the summit, passing the Cantilever Stone. The easiest version of the route is a simple but dull ascent up the scree-filled gully, while the more enjoyable alternative involves taking a left turn off the ridge after the initial steep section to ascend blocks and use Grade 1 terrain to reach the Cantilever Stone.
